What does Equidor make?
We build a complete suite of vestibular, balance and oculomotor diagnostic and rehabilitation systems — eye and head tracking (equiCOG), functional head impulse testing (equifHIT), posturography (equiPOISE), craniocorpography (equiCCG), subjective visual vertical & horizontal testing (equiSVV&H), a manual rotatory chair (equiSwivel), illuminated Frenzel goggles (equiGlasses) and VR rehabilitation (equiImmerse). Together they cover the full journey from “why am I dizzy?” to “here’s your therapy plan.”
Who are these products for?
ENT specialists, neurologists, audiologists, physiotherapists and balance clinics — anyone who assesses or treats dizziness, vertigo, imbalance or gaze instability. Dizziness is one of the most common reasons adults visit a doctor, affecting around 15% of adults each year, and our tools are built to make that visit faster, clearer and kinder.
Do I need a dark room or special setup?
Mostly no. Several of our devices — like equiCCG and equiGlasses — are designed to work in normal room light and at the bedside. Each device connects over a single USB cable and is built for point-of-care use, so you can test where the patient already is.
Where is patient data stored?
On your own system. All records and analysis stay local to you — there’s no forced cloud upload and no loss of control over your patients’ information. Privacy is a design principle, not an add-on.
Are the results objective, or down to interpretation?
Objective. Our devices capture high-resolution measurements and score them automatically against normative ranges, with clear normal / borderline / abnormal flags. You still bring the clinical judgement — we make sure it’s built on evidence, not estimation.
Can these devices help with treatment, not just diagnosis?
Yes. equifHIT, equiPOISE, equiSwivel and equiImmerse all include built-in rehabilitation protocols — from canal-specific VOR exercises and posture games to immersive VR habituation for heights, motion and optic flow. Assessment and therapy live in the same platform.
Is the testing comfortable for patients?
That’s central to our design. Electronics-free, lightweight head trackers (no wires, batteries or LEDs on the patient), comfortable headbands, light goggles, and paediatric-to-adult fall-prevention railings keep people safe and relaxed throughout.
Can children be tested too?
Many of our systems are suited to a wide range of patients. equiPOISE, for example, supports a 10–400 kg weight range and offers both paediatric and adult fall-prevention railings, making it appropriate from children through to older adults.
